WEEKLY FISHING REPORT – 02/15/21

Even in the cold people have still been going. It’s been slow though.

Crappies have been slower but still eating mostly in that last 2 hours or so before dark. Just a jig and a waxie has been working well. They are still hanging out and suspending in deeper holes. Crappies will hang in these holes until right before they start to spawn. The good thing is we’re getting closer to spring and they will become a lot more active as they bulk up to get ready for spawning

Walleye have been kind of hit and miss. It’s that time of year though. Most action is going to be right before dark and after. Walleye suckers or medium shiners on weed edges in 12 to 16 feet of where most people have been finding them.

Northern pike has been pretty consistent on tip ups with large shiners through the day. Just find green weeds and set your shiner a foot or two above them.

Information for this week’s fishing report was provided by Justin Reynolds from R&M Musky Shop.
