Our family group really enjoyed this spacious cabin with a
beautiful stone fireplace & amazing equipped kitchen! We
enjoyed the big kitchen table with 6 chairs & we supplemented
for our extra person.  The big deck faced the lake with
2 tables w/4 chairs each & there was a nice pier.  There
was an impressive supply of wood for the fireplace & a
small metal fire burner with swing nearby.  Communication
before & after our stay was exceptional!! We recommend this
cabin!

We had a wonderful time at the Chain Lake property.
Everything was clean and inviting - the linens, kitchenware,
decor, gaming area, fire pit, and lake access were tremendous!
Holly, the property manager, not only kept a great line of
communication open with the general rental details and
the check-in and check-out process, she went above and
beyond when we asked about nearby hiking trails and shops,
and came through like a champ when our initial pontoon searches
fell through. Special shout out to Dan Towne and his pontoon
company for renting us an awesome pontoon for fishing,
swimming, and boating on the 5 connected lakes: Dam, Sand,
Stone, Echo, and Chain. A truly memorable experience- 5 stars!

Excellent cabin!
This cabin was exactly what we envisioned, and it was extremely well appointed -
2 grills (gas and charcoal), tons of kitchen pots/pans/utensils, some basic cooking
spices/etc. (we did LOTS of cooking/grilling), and even plenty of basic amenities
(toothbrushes, etc.). Beds were very comfortable (main floor has 1 room w/queen
& 1 w/2 twins, basement has room w/1 queen, and loft had a bunch of twins)
and the water access is perfect! We were able to launch kayaks easily into the l
ake, which was perfect for kayaking (when not too windy) - very little boat traffic.
There were even some fun board games to play. It is also only about 15 minutes
from downtown Eagle River. I only knocked the "cleanliness" down one star as our
only issue was that the basement toilet was leaking from the inlet valve, which
didn't bother us - we just put a towel down, but you may want to make sure
that was fixed. The place itself was immaculately clean. Overall, we loved our
stay and Holly and her husband were amazingly helpful and welcoming as
the management company. If you're looking for a fairly quiet extremely
enjoyable cabin, this place was excellent.

Well deserved family time.
We had a great time with family and wished our time could have been
extended. Fishing was great. Most done on the pier due to rough waters
and storm chances. The Wildwood Wild Life Park never dissapoints and
even enjoyed some mini gulf, shopping, and go karts in Minocqua.
The beds were ok (nothing beats your own bed) but there were alot
of hard pillows. (again, nothing beats your own). Enjoyed a bon fire
as well. Thank for the R&R

Nice time
Found property just as listed on VRBO. Had everything we needed
except couldn't find a fly swatter. Swimming area had a few weeds t
he kids weren't to excited about but they still went swimming everyday.
Overall a very nice stay with everything we needed. Would consider

Overall a great place to stay!  Clean & well supplied with everything
you may need! We brought up sleds for the weekend, great trails &
beautiful area to snowmobile.  Driveway had plenty of space for our
trailers vehicles.  Loved the fireplace since it was cold weekend outside.
  Plenty of sleeping areas.  Holly was very friendly & available for any
of our needs, she communicated with us frequently checking if there
was anything we needed.  Easy check in & out process

Great rental
I stayed here with 3 friends on a fishing trip. The house was clean and
worked well for us. There are 3 bedrooms and one loft area with beds
so we all had separate places to sleep. Holly was available for anything
we needed but the house had everything so there were no issues.
I would recommend it.

If you are looking for a place to get away from city life this is the place.
This place is quiet, peaceful, and you get the fresh air you wouldn't get
in the city. This place is spacious and has everything you need to call it
a home away from home. Holly is a great person to rent from.
She is understanding and responded quickly to our needs.
We will definitely plan to stay here again.

The Cabin was perfectly set up for us as advertised.  It was clean and well stocked. 
The dock was large enough so we could tie up our 3 boats.  Fishing on the Chain

We all thought the place is great. We had 6 guys for a week and had some good fishing,
even from the pier.  We were able to park 3 boats in the driveway. Easy check-in/ check-out.
They had pretty much everything except the food. They should get 10 stars. Thanks

Delightful Northwoods Retreat

We spent a week at Chain Lake Log Cabin, and it was a delightful retreat from
staying at home in the city. The house, with a vaulted ceiling living area, has
ample space for sleeping and lounging, with a well stocked kitchen, games, WiFi,
ping pong table, etc. for rainy days. Laundry facilities helped ensure we had clean
towels and clothes throughout the week. The yard includes a double swing chair
the lake, a fire pit and a grill. With private dock access to the lake (which is a
comfortable temperature), a porch with tables and chairs overlooking the lake,
beautiful wooded surroundings and nearby biking trails, we found our
experience here delightful. The only downside was the neighbors’ complaint
to the owner that our son, who has special needs, was too loud (which, from
living with him daily, we can confirm)—Holly, the host, was very understanding
and handled the incident graciously. We highly recommend a stay here if you’re
headed to the Eagle River area in the future!

Great home. Great Host. Wonderful location. Had a lot of kitchen supplies which was really helpful as we liked to cook. We really enjoyed our time and this home gave us a great spot to stay while we enjoyed all of the awesome outdoor activities that northern Wisconsin has to offer. Highly recommend.
 
 
Holly was quick to respond, provided all info necessary, and had a wonderful home that our entire family enjoyed. She also had a ton of kitchen supplies which was great because we really like to cook and it made things nice and easy. The home was in great shape and provided us with a wonderful place to stay while we enjoyed the outdoors. Thank you!

    We all had a wonderful time and the accommodations were great. The 5 lake chain is beautiful and caught a nice 36" musky right on Chain lake. It's private and house was well stocked as we like to cook our own meals. Holly was a great host and made sure everything went smooth.

Our family had a great time at the Chain Lake Lodge. Our family made memories that will last a lifetime. Lodge was big and cozy. Loved being on the lake. It was so peaceful. We also saw two bald eagles everyday. That was so neat. Great dock for your boat. A great lake to cruise on, just not quite sure where the fish were hiding. We had all the convenience of home at the lodge from towels to paper products to kitchen supplies to games, etc. Also the manager, Holly, was awesome. Easy to talk to and get a hold of if we needed anything.

This house was just what I expected, everything I read about it and it was just like the pictures on the website. I took a trip with my family to get together with some other family members for Thanksgiving. The house is super spacious and only a few feet from the lake, which looked beautiful covered in ice and snow. It was a truly amazing experience being in such a nice, clean house. I would definitely rent it again, maybe in the summer.
